We are seeking clinical fellows who demonstrate strengths in the following:

  • Ability to analyze and synthesize information from a broad-based fund of knowledge in medical communication and voice science and disorders
  • Ability to engage in evidence-based problem solving
  • Motivation to achieve an advanced level of clinical competence in prevention, screening, evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with voice and swallowing disorders
  • The ability to communicate effectively and professionally in a multidisciplinary medical setting
  • Self-evaluation resulting in actively identifying steps to develop new skills and acquire knowledge
  • Ethical, responsible and professional conduct

In addition to clinical expectations, fellows will be expected to participate in the following:

  • Conduction and completion of your own clinical research project
  • Weekly multidisciplinary case conference, with regular clinical case presentations
  • Outreach activities
