A recent UW Health Transplant Center study shows that kidney transplant outcomes have significantly improved over the last half century because of advances in patient care, improved immunosuppression strategies and organ preservation techniques. This study examined the outcomes of 12,000 kidney transplants performed at the UW Health Transplant Center.
