Required Application Materials
• Personal statement (ERAS)
• Curriculum vitae via the ERAS application
• Medical school transcript and dean’s letter
• USMLE Transcript including Step 1 and Step 2
• Minimum of three letters of recommendation
Interviews
Tuesday, December 1, 2026 and Wednesday, December 9, 2026
University of Wisconsin Vascular Surgery 2026-2027 Match Pledge
We are thrilled that you are interested in our program and in the spirit of transparency wanted to put out a statement regarding Match Season.
Specifically:
- We are committed to a holistic review of all applications
- We have 1 categorical position for which we will interview 20 candidates
- Interviews will be offered by October 15, 2026 to fill the 20 slots
- We will NOT invite more candidates to interview than we have interview slots available
- If a slot opens up due to a cancellation by a candidate, additional invites may be sent out through our last interview date
- All interviews will be in person. Our interview dates will be Tuesday, December 1st, 2026 and Wednesday, December 9th, 2026.
