Otolaryngology researcher Cynthia Kelm-Nelson receives NIH R21 grant

Cynthia Kelm-Nelson, PhD, received a three-year NIH R21 grant for $153,000 annually, awarded through The National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders. This grant supports her project “Communication dysfunction in Parkinson disease: Integrated genetic and protein expression analysis of neural pathways to identify treatment targets.” Congratulations, Dr. Kelm-Nelson and thanks to her mentor, Michelle Ciucci, PhD.
