Gretchen Schwarze, MD, MPP, FACS, was selected as an inaugural member of the National Academy of Medicine’s Emerging Leaders Forum. This program honors and supports early-career leaders in health and medicine who are poised to shape the future of medicine. 12 forum members were selected from across the country. Forum members participate in mentorship, collaboration, and innovation activities with other members, and provide input on the priorities of the National Academy of Medicine.
