On September 15th, we will be changing how you can claim credit for watching our online surgery Grand Rounds videos. We will no longer be offering credit through our website for these videos. Instead, you can set up a free account with our campus continuing education office, the University of Wisconsin-Madison Interprofessional Continuing Education Partnership (ICEP), where you can watch the videos for credit.
The Voice and Swallow series will not be affected by this change.
How to claim credit after September 15th
To receive AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™, sign up for a free account with the University of Wisconsin-Madison Interprofessional Continuing Education Partnership (ICEP), and watch the videos on their website. You can watch the videos without receiving credit on our website. Viewing the online Grand Rounds and successfully completing the online post test will provide you with AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ with self-assessment. The estimated time to complete this activity, including review of the materials, is one hour.

What happens to my past certificates of completion?
Now through October 15th, you can still log in to your account with the Department of Surgery to download your past certificates of completion for your reference. After October 15th, we will no longer store certificates of completion. You will be able to continue to receive certificates of completion in the new online portal offered through the University of Wisconsin-Madison Interprofessional Continuing Education Partnership (ICEP).
