Ethan MacKenzie, MD, returns to the UW–Madison Department of Surgery as an assistant professor in the Division of Plastic Surgery. Dr. MacKenzie completed his plastic surgery residency at Wisconsin Surgery in 2024.
As an assistant professor, Dr. Mackenzie’s responsibilities will be divided between clinical care and teaching, research and scholarly activities. His clinical responsibilities will include building and maintaining an active clinical practice encompassing the full range of plastic surgery. In addition, Dr. MacKenzie will be responsible for teaching medical students, residents, and fellows within the context of his practice.
Dr. Mackenzie recently completed a microsurgery fellowship at The Ohio State University.
