Welcome Dr. Elise DeRoo to the Division of Vascular Surgery

Elise DeRoo, MD, who recently completed her Integrated Vascular Surgery Residency at the UW–Madison Department of Surgery, is transitioning to an assistant professor within the Division of Vascular Surgery.

In this position, Dr. DeRoo’s time will be divided between clinical care and teaching, research and scholarly activities. Her clinical practice will be based primarily at University Hospital and the VA. In addition, Dr. DeRoo will be responsible for teaching medical students, residents, and fellows within the context of her clinical practice. Her clinical and research interests include peripheral arterial disease and limb preservation.

Prior to her Integrated Vascular Surgery Residency, Dr. DeRoo received her medical degree from Harvard Medical School.
