Two faculty members were recently awarded five-year NIH R01 grants. Jack Jiang, MD, PhD, was awarded a grant for his project “The interaction between vocal fold hydration and vibratory biomechanics,” and Susan Thibeault, PhD, CCC-SLP, was awarded a grant for her project “Mechanisms of innate immune-microbial interactions in vocal fold inflammation.” Congratulations to both on this impressive funding accomplishment!
