Dr. Ben Cher, general surgery resident, was recently appointed to the Journal of Gastrointestinal Surgery (JOGS) OPEN Editorial Board. The JOGS OPEN serves as an official journal of the Society for Surgery of the Alimentary Tract and complements the Journal of Gastrointestinal Surgery.
Dr. Cher was selected for his expertise, professional reputation, and commitment to scholarly excellence. As an Editorial Board member, he will review manuscripts, encourage colleagues to submit their manuscripts to the journal, and, when possible, submit his own scholarly work.
Recently launched, JOGS OPEN is dedicated to advancing gastrointestinal surgical science and the dissemination of high-quality research, enhancing surgical education and patient outcomes, and supporting multidisciplinary research worldwide.
