Dr. Courtney Morgan, Associate Professor in the Division of Vascular Surgery, was awarded the Dean’s Teaching Award at the UW School of Medicine and Public Health’s (SMPH) Medical Education Day on May 29.
The Dean’s Teaching Awards are selected by a committee of faculty that have previously been honored for their excellence in teaching and are the UW SMPH’s only peer-selected teaching award. This award recognizes those that have made a significant impact on the education of medical, graduate, professional or undergraduate students in SMPH programs.

As Section Chief of Vascular Surgery at the VA hospital, she serves as the site director for the Vascular Surgery residency and fellowship programs. Dr. Morgan is the Integrated Block Leader for Surgical and Procedural Care in Phase 2 of the medical student curriculum.
