April is Donate Life Month and the UW Health Transplant Center recently reached the extraordinary milestone of 20,000 organs transplanted. Dr. Jennifer Philip, Assistant Professor in the Division of Transplantation, performed the surgery. The UW Health Transplant Center is the first and only transplant program in the Midwest to surpass 20,000 transplanted organs.
