Welcome Dr. Patrick Lee to the Division of Acute Care and Regional General Surgery

Patrick Lee, MD, PhD, returns to UW-Madison as an Assistant Professor in the Division of Acute Care and Regional General Surgery. Dr. Lee earned his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health and completed his residency in Department of Surgery.

As an Assistant Professor, Dr. Lee’s responsibilities will be divided between clinical care, education, and scholarly duties. Additionally, Dr. Lee will be appointed the Division of Acute Care and Regional General Surgery’s Medical Student Faculty Lead for Acute Care/Trauma/Burn rotations. He will serve as a resource for medical students to acclimate them to the service. Dr. Lee will also be responsible for teaching medical students, residents, and fellows within the context of his clinical practice.

Dr. Lee recently completed a surgical critical care fellowship and an acute care surgery fellowship at the University of Maryland R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center.
