
Members of the Transplant Division recently shined at the American Transplant Congress.
Dixon Kaufman, MD, PhD, was installed as President of the American Society of Transplant Surgeons (ASTS). Transplant surgery research fellow Natalie Bath, MD, was awarded the ASTS Young Investigator Award, and resident Kevin Janek, MD, who is researching in the lab of Joshua Mezrich, MD, was awarded the ASTS Resident Scientist Scholarship for a grant entitled “Targeting the AHR with Nanoparticles in Models of Organ Transplantation.” In addition to these awards, members moderated four sessions, gave 14 podium talks, and presented 25 posters.
